FAQs

What is Old Line Elite?

  • Old Line Elite is a collection of like minded players, coaches, and families that want to get back to the basics of club lacrosse. We want to foster an environment of growth while providing unparalleled player focus and attention. We are Maryland based and nationally connected through our partner programs as well as our national program, Team America.

What makes Old Line Elite different than everyone else?

  • We want to get back to what is best for the players as a whole. We want to train more efficiently and allow the young men in our program to experience many different things. We want them to grow with the sport, train hard, and enjoy the process. Reps are important, but quality trumps quantity.

What types of events will you participate in?

  • Our goal is to push our players to play at the highest level possible. High School teams will attend high level recruiting events and our youth will be pushed in the offseason regionally as well as during the traditional spring “HOCO” season.

Do you offer recruiting assistance?

  • Absolutely! Whether it is our National Recruiting Director or our local team coaches and directors in the area, you have real, in person assistance at your disposal.

Are you part of a big organization?

  • We are local and hands on. Our coaches and directors are part of this community and understand the pain points as well as the needs of local players. We are part of an independent collective that will allow for additional and national team opportunities throughout the year. No matter where you are in your development, we can meet you at your level.

Where will you practice?

  • As mentioned, we are local and in the community. We utilize fields in Howard, Anne Arundle, Queen Anne, and Baltimore Co. Our goal is to allow players to actually be multi-sport, multi-faceted people. We have partnered with several local and independent trainers that can provide any additional training opportunities for those who may be interested.

My player missed tryouts. What is the best way to get involved?

  • Tryouts are the most hectic time of year! We do encourage everyone to try and attend our formal tryouts as our goal is to form our team as early as possible to set expectations, build camaraderie, and build a stable environment. With that said, select teams may have individual needs. Please reach out to our directors to set up an individual evaluation.
